Parliamentary Under Secretary

David CairnsDAVID CAIRNS

David Cairns was appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State to the Scotland Office on 10 May 2005 He was born in 1966 and educated in Greenock, Rome and Canterbury. From 1998-2002 he was a councillor in the London Borough of Merton. He was elected MP for Greenock and Inverclyde in 2001 and was PPS to Malcolm Wicks Minister at DWP from 2003-2005. He was elected to the seat of Inverclyde in 2005.
